I have a feeling that we may see a Reeve Clark Kent, in the near future… But that maybe it for Reeve-likeness licensed HT figures. I hope that they do a Hackman Lex Luthor, and maybe a Stamp Zod. Although I also wanted a Dark Superman, from Superman 3, but that may never come to be…

The head sculpt on this figure, is uncanny to Mr. Reeve. Whomever says that the sculpt doesn’t look like him, must be out of his/her fckin mind. But is it just me or did the figure on the prototype pictures, look better? The colors of the suit, the fitting of the suit, and the skin tone on the prototype figure, seemed a lot better to me…

Also the body of the prototype pictures seemed leaner– where as the body on the final product seems bulkier (lets just hope that its only the camera, adding 100 lbs to the figure). The the suit and the bulky look of the final HT, very slightly resembles the Matty version. Also why does his face seem darker, than the skin tone of his neck and hands? Was he tanning?

I just hope that HT doesn’t turn this into the Joker fiasco of 08, with millions of remastered and tweeked re-releases of the figure– that would make even George Lucas jealous.

Let’s chalk it up to bad camera right now and hope for the best. Hot Toys products do look better in solicitation photos opposed to their actual released counterparts, but not that much worse.

I guess he also could have gotten one that is not up to par like the other ones…

You’re right John, it seems that the camera and the one he got is what is making it look crappy. Here’s another video of the figure by someone else, and this version of the figure looks great.
